उनको ये शिकायत है.. मैं बेवफ़ाई पे नही लिखता,
और मैं सोचता हूँ कि मैं उनकी रुसवाई पे नही लिखता.'
'ख़ुद अपने से ज़्यादा बुरा, ज़माने में कौन है ??
मैं इसलिए औरों की.. बुराई पे नही लिखता.'
'कुछ तो आदत से मज़बूर हैं और कुछ फ़ितरतों की पसंद है ,
ज़ख़्म कितने भी गहरे हों?? मैं उनकी दुहाई पे नही लिखता.'
'दुनिया का क्या है हर हाल में, इल्ज़ाम लगाती है,
वरना क्या बात?? कि मैं कुछ अपनी.. सफ़ाई पे नही लिखता.'
'शान-ए-अमीरी पे करू कुछ अर्ज़.. मगर एक रुकावट है,
मेरे उसूल, मैं गुनाहों की.. कमाई पे नही लिखता.'
